How to Make Your Bar Last (Pro-Tips)
Handcrafted soap is naturally high in glycerin, which loves water. To make sure your soap lasts as long as possible, follow these simple steps:

Keep it High and Dry: Never leave your bar sitting in a pool of water. Use a self-draining soap dish (wood or ceramic with slats is best) so the air can circulate around the bar.

The "Dry Touch" Rule: If the bar feels hard and dry to the touch between uses, it will last significantly longer.

Slice it up: Some of our customers prefer to cut the bar in half, keeping one half in the shower and the other half dry until needed. This keeps the soap firm and maximizes its lifespan.

At The Eight, our soaps are made using the traditional cold process method, allowing naturally occurring glycerine to remain within the bar. We cure each batch for 4-6 weeks to create a hard, long-lasting soap with a luxurious lather.
